girls golf, a boutique line of made-to-order women's clothing for golf and casual wear
The girls golf brand was founded in 2004 in the USA by Annie Margulis in Bloomfield Hills Michigan. The name girls golf, the pink birdie logo and the use of bright prints, color blocking and one word graphics (with a bit of humor) on shirts, were all her original design concepts. Annie's goal was to bring fashion and runway trends – a new way of looking at women's golf clothing – on and off the course.
A chance meeting with Rike Vormwald from Germany, an expert in textile sales and small brands, while she was living in the Metropolitan Detroit area in 2005 brought about a unique collaboration between Annie and Rike.
girls golf traveled to Germany via Rike who partnered with Chris Endrich, known for his experience in textile production, and girls golf Europe was born.
The girls golf business model is a made to order boutique line and is now sold at clubs, resorts and retail locations in 26 countries worldwide.
We are thankful to all of the editors, buyers and consumers who have supported us. We are especially grateful to all of our girlfriends on and off the course.
Hit the ball beautiful!
